ABOUT ME

My name is William Stremple.  This is my ninth year of teaching mathematics.  Currently, I teach 6th grade Math Extension in Leander ISD.  Before this, I taught 8th grade mathematics in Loudoun County, Virginia for four years and high school mathematics for a year at The Summit Academy in Butler, PA.  All of these experiences have been extremely fulfilling and the students I encounter on a daily basis constantly remind me of my reasons for choosing teaching as my profession.

Wrestling has been a huge part of my life (I started when I was 5), and I helped share my passion for the sport in various coaching capacities.  2014 was my first and only season as the Head Wrestling Coach at Freedom High School in Virginia.  Prior to this, I was the Assistant Coach at Plum Senior High School and A.E.O'block Junior High in Pittsburgh, PA for two years, as well as the JV Wrestling Coach at Freedom for the 3 years leading up to my position as Head Coach.

In my spare time, I like to read, brainstorm teaching strategies and lessons, play golf, and spend time with my beautiful wife, Jackie, our daughter Emmersyn, and our Old English Sheepdog, BeBe.
