This tool does not provide elaborate mathematical content, but does provide a good introduction or review of what a ratio is. It introduces the idea of a proportion but is not explicit in teaching what a proportion, or a ratio for that matter really is. Similarly, there isn’t too much support for student learning; it can definitely be used as a hook or introduction, but doesn’t provide many specific details of ratios and proportions that they students need for deep understanding. With all of this in mind, we all agree that this is by far the best tool that we evaluated and we would definitely use this in our classrooms. It is funny, relatable, and easy to follow. We like the idea of using it as an introduction, a review, or both and think it makes ratios and proportions completely accessible to our students.

7. How could this resource supplement/facilitate PBL?

This resource can be used to supplement PBL.  This is a great way to introduce ratios and proportions to students.
